My cousin and her husband gave their kids a trip to Disney World. This video captures the pure spirit of Disney. I can’t wait to take my daughters. Adeline is just not ready for a theme park yet. Her little legs just won’t carry her far enough on her own. Until then we can enjoy our friends and families adventures to Disney.
But, lets step back. Are theme parks really the craze anymore? I decided to check out Google’s statistics for trending topics. Here is the trends for theme parks for the recent decade:
You can see a very predictable future. But what if we look at Disney World as well as “theme park”? You can see a much more steady success rate. This is purely the Disney name and powerhouse marketing that is carrying this trend higher than it’s less fortunate cousins:

You can see clearly that even when the rest of the industry fizzles out, Disney World and Co. will stay the course and rule supreme. How long do you think it will take Six Flags and Busch Gardens to fall apart?
